Engineering scope
One scope covering the control, electrical, instrumentation and software engineering a feed mill needs. In Automill that brings together weighbridge and raw material management, recipe control, hand additions, production scheduling and the production record, as one connected operation rather than separate installations.
Receive and route raw materials
Automill links intake destinations to the weighbridge or quality process. Number plate or RFID identification connects the arriving vehicle to its allocated route, with offloading gated by the quality process.
Verify hand additions
Platform scales record ingredient weights. Automill links tagged buckets to a recipe and order, then checks the scan at the addition point against the running batch.
Control batching and mixing
Automill uses a separate batch-control block for each raw material bin. Recipe and order information follows the batch through holding points, while SCADA shows connected equipment status and alarms.
Measure the pellet plant
Automill's recipe-linked records bring together throughput, quality entries, process measurements, downtime reasons and energy use per tonne.
Connect production to the business
Automill's reporting and ERP integration covers production totals, bills of materials and inventory data, alongside shift, yield and stock variance reports.

Inside six months the plant passed its own goal and set a record of 9,000 tons a month. Working through the downtime record then took it to 10,000, with the quality they expect held throughout.
